Bret Michaels has shot down rumors that had an affair with Miley CyrusÂ' mother, Tish Cyrus. In an appearance on this morningÂ's (Tuesday, November 9) edition of "Fox & Friends", Michaels said he has been friends with Tish and MileyÂ's dad, Billy Ray, "forever," and that he didnÂ't have a romantic relationship with Tish. Rumors circulated last week that Michaels was the reason for MileyÂ's parentsÂ' divorce after 17 years of marriage.
“The answer is no," Michaels said when asked if he had the affair. "But hereÂ's the thing. IÂ've been friends with her family forever. It started out with me and Miley simply working on a song together. Her mom, Tish, likes [the POISON song] Â'Every Rose Has Its ThornÂ', the first concert Miley ever saw was POISON, and so they wanted to remake it for her new record. And while I was in the studio, Miley came in and sang on my song — a song I wrote for my album, Â'Custom BuiltÂ' — she came over and sang on that. She did a beautiful job, and that was it. And then they started with all that controversy [about the alleged affair]."
