BRET MICHAELS In Stable Condition

Bret Michaels' condition has been upgraded from "critical" to "stable", almost five days after he was hospitalized for what turned out to be a brain hemorrhage, US Weekly magazine quoted his spokesperson as saying.

Bret has been under doctor supervision for 24 hours a day in an ICU unit in a hospital in Arizona, where he lives, since he was rushed there Thursday night.

Doctors are still searching for the source of the bleeding in Michaels's brain, which had caused him to experience slurred speech and blurred vision.
