Now that Simon Cowell has left American Idol, there is still much speculation on who will replace him as the new "American Idol" judge.
"Actually, BretÂ'd be good," Cowell confessed to "ExtraÂ's" Terri Seymour. "HeÂ's funny. HeÂ's got experience. HeÂ'd be a good choice -- and you saw the audience reaction to him. They love him."
"ThatÂ's what IÂ'm saying!," Michaels laughed backstage with "Extra" after his great "Idol" perfomance. "LetÂ's just say that I was to slip into SimonÂ's chair. IÂ'm sorry he has to go but sometimes things happen. Provided my health holds up, I think IÂ'm taking that chair next year!"
