In a brand new interview with Pocono Record, Bret Michaels was asked about the band's status and whether there will be a follow-up to the group's last album, 2007's "Poison'd". He responded: "With POISON, it's always about timing. The band has never broken up, and we never will. Right now is not the time for us to make new music, but the day will come, when we are all on the same page and we will do something really special."
Pressed on whether he is working on new solo music and if so, when fans can expect to hear something, Bret said: "I am always working on new solo material. I have a studio on the bus with me and anytime I have an idea, I can get up and crank it out. I'm not exactly sure when something new will come out, but it's never far away."
