According to a source close to Bret Michaels, he and Poison are putting the final touches on a new studio album to be released in June. The new album, entitled "Glam Slam Kings of Noise," will include 14 new songs and 3 bonus tracks. In support of the new album, Poison will begin a North American festival tour with other bands of the era. A world tour is also in the works in Europe, Australia, Japan, and South America, the likes of which have not been seen since the Native Toungue Tour in the early ninties.

Bret Michaels is also releasing a solo album in June entitled "Good Songs & Great Friends." The album was scheduled for a February release, but has been postponed until June. It is speculated that this change was to allow for cross promotion between the two albums.

It has been 6 years since Poison's last studio album. That release, entitled "Poison'd," is an album of covers released in June of 2007. Their last studio album of original material was 2002's "Hollyweird."
