C.C. Deville has issued a statement confirming his involvement in the sixth season of VH1's ratings juggernaut "The Surreal Life".
The reality show has played host to such guests as Vince Neil (MÖTLEY CRÜE), Vanilla Ice, Eric Estrada and others. The program is known for giving celebrities the opportunity to show a side of themselves seldom seen. C.C. Deville is expected to be "one of the show's all-time shining stars," according to Deville's press release. "This is something I have been really wanting to do," commented C.C. "I'm very excited."
Joining C.C. on the show will be WHITESNAKE frontman David Coverdale's ex-wife, Tawny Kitaen, Steve Harwell of SMASHMOUTH; actor Sherman Hemsley, Playboy TV's covergirl, Andrea Lowell, and Alexis Arquette. Special guest star Florence Henderson will join the show as the cast's full-time and on-call therapist/advisor.
Slated to air on VH1 in January, the sixth season of "The Surreal Life" will see this brand new cast move through a maze of outrageous events, including taking over a small market TV newscast, a music video shoot, transforming into a hair metal band, sex therapy with "Dr. Flo," and choosing an extra cast member from a pool of reality hunks.
VH1's "The Surreal Life" is executive produced by Mark Cronin, Cris Abrego and Ben Samek for Mindless Entertainment and 51 Pictures' Jeff Olde and Jill Modabber oversee the series for VH1.
