C.C. DeVille and Poison have kissed and made up, C.C.'s sidekick Krys Barratto, bassist in DeVille's solo project Samantha 7, told MTV News.

DeVille himself confirmed the news in an interview with WDHA Radio in New Jersey on Saturday night.

The guitarist parted company with his original band two weeks ago when Poison singer Bret Michaels refused to allow Samantha 7 to open the pending tour. Michaels in turn complained that DeVille had not been writing any new material with Poison and accused the guitarist of using Poison solely to promote his other band.

The reunion appears to be on regardless of Sam 7's touring status, which is said to still be up in the air. With Cinderella, Slaughter, and Dokken already confirmed for the Poison bill, it appears unlikely DeVille's original demand can be met.

DeVille did not address his writing status with Poison or the status of his named replacement, Tracii Guns, during Saturday's frenetic and comedic interview. The L.A. Guns guitarist has been writing songs with Michaels for inclusion on 'Live + Five,' a CD targeted for a June release and scheduled to include live tracks from last summer's tour as well as five new songs.

The guitarist pointed out that his choices were playing for 18,000 fans or 18. He also said he was responding to fans who were accusing him of being emotional and a prima donna.

The DeVille and Poison recoupling apparently got its start at the previous weekend's NAMM music merchandisers convention in Los Angeles when DeVille stood in line to see Poison drummer Rikki Rockett at a drum company booth. The two spoke and DeVille expressed remorse at the turn of events.

Tracii Guns was planning on cramming Poison into his L.A. Guns dance card and balancing both projects, as L.A. Guns is set to tour in March. Now it will be DeVille who will be balancing two projects. The Samantha 7 CD is scheduled to be released by Sony on May 2. The Poison tour is expected to kick off in mid-June.
