Follow up Dr. appointment...
So lymph is a little smaller.
Base of tongue still swollen, but not unusual for a freshly biopsied area.
Course of antibiotics and steroids. Recheck with scope in one week. If lymph isn?t down then we will biopsy that area and do an ultrasound.
Overall a pretty good visit. Encouraging, would be the word.
According with Rikki, main thing right now is that there is no cancer found.
Asked about what do the doctor think is going on, he replied "It might be Lingual Tonsillitis"
