Rikki spoke at UCSD forum yesterday in San Diego along with Dr. Ezra Cohen about immunotherapy treatments for cancer. Rockett was recently placed into total remission from tongue cancer, although it's too early to speak of a cure, but no cancer can be detected in his body. Rikki Rockett, was diagnosed with oral cancer more than a year ago. When chemotherapy and radiation treatment failed to eradicate his cancer, Rockett came to Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego Health to participate in a clinical trial testing experimental cancer immunotherapy. A few months later, he received the best news of his life: his cancer is gone. In this video, he tells his story at a UC San Diego Health education event on Aug. 20, 2016.
