Rikki Rockett sat down with Patrick Musumeche of FullMetalRock.com and 8countnews.com last weekend. Rikki talked about the past, the present and the future of Poison on their Houston, TX stop on the 25 year anniversary tour along with Motley Crue and opening act and good friends, NY Dolls. A very personable Rockett answered questions about what started him behind the sticks and what it takes to make it this long in the music business. ?The industry is tough, times have changed and everything is digital!" He also spoke about what he hopes for the future of Poison. "I hope we (Poison) can get a new record out...I hope after this tour we can get it done!"

Rockett Drum Works is not just his own business; it's his own personal passion. Rikki said, "I have always been around the best builders in the world and always wonder why so many rules, what can I do different to making custom sets."

He is also in the stages of filming a Rockett Drum Works reality TV show. He said he hopes to get the show picked up by a major network. "It's kind of like a West Coast Choppers meets Monster Garage. It?s not another one of those fucking cupcake shows! But I could make drums look like cupcakes..? "

In addition to all of this, Rockett also holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, under trainer Renato Magno and trains at Street Sports Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, located in Santa Monica, California. "Im into the MMA world and would love to host an event on day!"
